Hi all!
Would it be possible to have a feature where once you send (or think you have sent) a quick note that the site could have a small message that maybe read something like, "Qn has been sent."
Sometimes, I'll send a quick note and my pc will delay for some reason. The zonebbs page takes a minute to load back up and I wonder if my qn has gone through. What does everyone else think? Can having such a feature even be possible?
Thanks for any feedback I appreciate it!
Is it posssible? I think so. Will it ever be done, who knows. I think the feature would be nice, but I also think that if a person responds the QN has been sent. It's really hard to tell with slow browsers. It's happened to me where I think I've sent one and it didn't go through. But, good question.
Seems the feature is already available.
In your account settings, you can set things to show all your quick notes that are sent.
I'm not looking at it, but it is in there.
I'll have to check. thanks so much!
I think that feature only is available if you have publics turned on. When you do, you will read your own public qn along with all the others. However, if you do not have publics on or choose to send a private qn to someone, you do not get a notification.
That might be true. I've never turned public notes off, nor do I have it set so it reads them, but have.
Mine, as you said are in the batch if I have that on.
It doesn't work for PQN's. I doubt anything will get done, but I can pass it along to the admins if you wish.
Please do it'd be great! Thanks so much!
Just expanded the echo public Quicknotes setting so you can now do this for private QN's or all as well.
